Long range plans for period ending July 2010
Goal I: To increase Beaverton Arts Commission’s operational effectiveness, visibility and impact in the community.
Goal II: To create Strategic Partnerships in order to reach a more diversified audience.
Goal III: To review annually the artistic and cultural needs of the community and to ensure adequate financial resources, staffing and volunteers to meet those needs.
Goal IV: To build awareness of the importance of the arts in the development of the City of Beaverton by taking a leadership role in arts advocacy.
Monitoring and Evaluation
The BAC Board and its key committees continually review and evaluate the organizations’ operations and its value to the community.
- Beginning January 2008, the BAC Long Range Plan will be incorporated into the monthly Board of Director’s meeting agendas in order to track planned activities, goals, objective.
- The Board will conduct an annual community survey (via web, Your City and BAC’s e-newsletter) in Fall 2009 to identify overall satisfaction with BAC services, as well as to seek input on community needs, interests and priorities.
